Virtual Leased Line

Establish a dedicated, high-speed point-to-point connection across our network  directly to other peers, content providers, or your own infrastructure. IX Australia offers both local VLL connections and inter-capital connections (iVLLs).

IX Australia’s VLL service is:

How does a Virtual Leased Line work?

A VLL provides a private, high-speed data path between IX peers over a single physically provisioned Ethernet interface of 10Gbps or higher, with 50% of your port speed reserved for peering traffic. The result: efficient data exchange, improved network performance, and tighter control over your traffic flow for:

• Reliable content streaming
• Latency-sensitive applications
• Redundant connectivity between your own sites.

Your first five VLLs are free on your first port at each local exchange. Additional VLLs within the same exchange are $99/month.
