IAA Membership

How do I become a Member?
  • To apply, please go to our IAA Member Portal.
  • Membership requires Board approval, prior to activation.
  • Board Members are elected at IAA’s AGM seats are held for four-year terms. Seats become available as Board Member terms expire.
  • All Members are welcome and encouraged to nominate four Board seats. If more nominations are received than the number of available seats, an election is held for the voting Membership.

  • Corporate – $500.00 inc GST annually.
  • Professional – $50.00 inc GST annually.
  • Affiliate – complimentary.
  • If you no longer have access to our membership portal, please contact our team who can help you to re-activate your membership.
  • This type of Membership is suited to individuals who have an expressed interest in the internet industry and provides invaluable education and networking opportunities.
  • This type of Membership is ideal for organisations with a vested interest in the internet industry and who want to leverage the services offered by IAA, such as IX Peering.
  • Corporate Members include a diverse range of organisations within the internet industry, many of whom provide commercial services across the broader internet ecosystem.
  • This Membership suits government agencies, not-for-profits, and other like-minded organisations deemed appropriate by the IAA Board. 
  • Affiliate Class Members have access to any services offered by IAA, such as IX Peering, but do not have voting rights when it comes to our governance.
  • If you wish to cancel your Membership, please contact our team. Please note that Membership fees are non-refundable.
  • As a Professional Member, you will receive regular news updates on events and advocacy, including quarterly newsletters.
  • In addition, Corporate Members also receive a welcome pack containing comprehensive details of their new Membership.
